A very modern and well equipped fitness center has experienced led light PVC lens failures.
The discoloring of 26 of 32 each 2x4 led lens has been caused by the use of a PVC material lens that discolors due to UV rays and heat. This failure has occurred within the last 3 years.
The solution is to replace the 26 defective led lay-in panels with the proper panel with the correct lens material, PMMA.
The new led lay-in panels will be supplied by Grasp Lighting Group out of Richmond, Texas
The cost for the new panels is very cost effective and will increase light output from 22 foot candles average to over 32 foot candles while still only consuming 40 watts of electricity. 2 styles of panels have been recommended by CEO Peter V. Baker, of Grasp Lighting Group.
The panel exchange is 20 minutes each or less so there is very little downtime as the fitness center is open 24/7.
All pre and post photo optics will be performed by Mr. Baker and he will supervise installation of all 26 panels.
There will be no more lens discolorations nor loss of light output and the fitness center will look maintained once again.
